The Emergency Department at Exeter Hospital cares for a diverse patient population with a wide range of medical needs. With annual volumes of approximately 33,000 the department is one of the busiest in the Seacoast area. In addition to the main Emergency Department comprised of 21 beds, there is a 6 bed Minor Care area. Our Emergency Department nurses possess strong clinical assessment skills, superior judgment, and the ability to manage challenging situations and set priorities. They care for patients of all ages with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses in the following settings: triage, critical care, trauma care, emergency care and the Minor Emergency Care Unit (MECU).
In this fast-paced environment, you must possess strong clinical assessment skills, superior judgment, and the ability to manage challenging situations and set priorities. Previous nursing experience in an emergency department setting and BSN strongly preferred.
Requirements:
- Active RN license – NH State or any other compact state
- BSN Preferred
- 1 Year Emergency or Critical Care experience preferred
- BCLS at hire
- ACLS, PALS certified or within 6 months of hire
